Stop celebrating thieves and demonizing patriots

So, will this always be the case, wherein we will celebrate thieves, corrupt, and morally bankrupt elements and agents of darkness and vilify patriots and elements of change? I think it is high time that we change the narrative, we cannot continue in this act of sheer backwardness and primitivity.

A few days ago, some people were seen celebrating an unscrupulous and loudmouth public official who lacks ethic and has a very shallow understanding of his role as a deputy minister of the Ministry of Information, while today the Liberian media is going unnoticed. However, I'm not surprised why Mr. Rodney Sieh is not being hailed today by the Liberian people for informing them about the devilish and criminal acts that are being meted out against them by people whom they consider to be their heroes and leaders—it is not fond of us to do such things.

A couple of years ago, Mr. Sieh was arrested and jailed on grounds that he published falsehood or unverifiable story. He was lambasted and heavily condemned by the Liberian people. Today, I believe in my mind that he should be celebrated, as well as the entire Liberian media for informing the Liberian people about the 40foot container with an estimated amount of 16billion Liberia dollars that disappeared from the free port of Monrovia. The Liberian media needs to be commended for her diligence and commitment to serving the Liberian people through her accurate reportage. It is without controversy that the Liberian media is totally in control and on top of her game.

Haven said all of the above; I want to conclude by congratulating Mr. Rodney Sieh and the Front Page Africa family, as well as the entire Liberian media for keeping the Liberian people informed by providing credible and factual news and information. Meanwhile, it is also important that the Liberian people understand that the day they take off their coats of hypocrisy and sycophancy and stop being mealy-mouthed, is the day that Liberia will begin to move forward.
