FORUM Managing Editor Augustus Fallah and six top Liberian media executives have begun touring several Ugandan media institutions after arriving in Kampala Sunday.

In a dispatch Mr. Fallah expressed excitement at the way the Ugandan Media work while describing the tour as very fruitful.

He said they visited the government owned New Vision Newspaper with a daily circulation of 35,000 copies.

The Liberian journalists were also taken on a guided tour of the modern newsroom network, the multi-media industry, the freelance division, the website and the library.

The Managing Director of the New Vision Newspaper, Mr. William Pike called on the visiting Liberian media practitioners to adopt the policy of balance and professional reporting in the face of what he called emerging democracy.
